I am a certified Transactional Analyst, and TA forms the foundation of my work. While I will bring in valuable TA models, what matters most to me is the relationship we build together. Alongside this, I bring in body-based techniques, tools for calming the nervous system, and trauma-informed practices to support healing and growth. Creativity is an important part of how I work. I use metaphor, visualization, movement, and grounding exercises to help clients connect with themselves in new and supportive ways. I am guided by TA’s core values of equality and the belief that everyone has the capacity to reflect, grow, and create change in their lives. I have experience working with people facing a wide variety of challenges, and I feel especially passionate about supporting those who have felt marginalized or ‘othered.’I am a qualified psychotherapist and transactional analyst, based in rural West Wales. I offer sessions both in person, from my garden cabin, and online. My approach is grounded in the belief that relationships—both with others and with ourselves—shape how we experience the world. I’m especially interested in how our inner dialogue influences the way we see and move through life. In therapy, we can explore and adjust this perspective, creating space for a more authentic and fulfilling way of being. I value each person’s individuality and understand that everyone arrives with their own unique challenges and hopes. Together, we can explore what you’d like to change, understand what might be holding you back, and discover new possibilities for growth. I believe that our past often shapes our present, and through compassionate exploration, it’s possible to gain insight, integrate experiences, and begin to heal. At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating a therapeutic space built on acceptance, compassion, authenticity, and integrity. Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked as a birth doula—a role that still holds deep meaning for me. I have also supported people of all ages in alternative education settings. My background in drama, dance, and music continues to inspire my practice, bringing in creativity and body-based awareness as valuable tools in the therapeutic process.

As the founder of Transforming Talk and coming from a background in education and youth work I have a deep commitment to connecting to people as human beings. In so much of my work prior to training as a therapist I encountered people who where under the constant pressure of trying to "fit into their role". Trying to work out the expectations of others and adapting themselves to what they thought they needed to be put a massive strain on their overall wellbeing and happiness. With five years of experience working as a therapist I am passionate about helping people to rediscover who they are , leaving shame and doubt behind them. I work with men and and women of all ages and backgrounds. I have a special focus on working with people who are navigating a neuro-divergent diagnosis (such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism), and survivors of abuse. My name is Deborah, and I am an experienced practitioner offering psychotherapy and supervision with a relational focus. Based in Derbyshire, I also provide supervision and deliver professional training. As an experienced supervisor, I offer both individual and group supervision to trainees, qualified practitioners, and fellow supervisors. In addition, I am a skilled trainer and lead an RTE programme, the MSc in Transactional Analysis (TA) Psychotherapy and CTA group at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Institute in Nottingham.

Hello! My name is Nicky and I am experienced practitioner offering psychotherapy and supervision with a relational focus. My practice is based in Winchester and I offer individual therapy on a wide range of issues. I am also an experienced supervisor. Supervision is a particular interest of mine and I offer individual or group supervision to trainees, qualified practitioners and supervisors. This autumn I will be starting a new developmental supervision group for newly qualified supervisors. I am experienced trainer and currently deliver supervision training for several training institutes.

Growing up on the Kent border of southeast London, I now live in Horsham in West Sussex, nestled between the gentle North and South Downs. Before working as a therapist, my work background began in the business and management world and then in health within the NHS. ​I later obtained extensive experience of working with young people, including those on the autistic spectrum, within a multidisciplinary team in social care. I have a wide range of counselling experience prior to and in my own private practice and am passionate about our natural world, and how this puts into perspective our lives, and how we relate to others and the wider world The present moment is the only moment that is really happening. Having completed the Advanced Diploma in Integrated Psychotherapy I use various other modalities that fit well with transactional analysis, and will work with you using a transactional analysis relational school approach but incorporating within my work concepts from wider transactional analytical fields. I tailor these concepts for each individual client to what you feel you need, and indeed what is right for you - you are unique. I hold certificates in working with creativity, interpersonal neurobiology and working with the body; to summarize the significance of this, it addresses the whole self with body and mind connection. My passion is the power of nature and I hold a certificate in Taking Therapy Outside - understanding therapeutic practice in outdoor natural spaces. My local outside therapy space is held at a nature reserve.

I am a relational practitioner of some 25 years working from Chichester in person, and on screen. I offer group and individual supervision to those wishing to deepen their practice with a relational edge.

My name is Mandy Atkinson, and I am a TSTA (P), and I run the therapy, supervision and training aspects of my practice from my consulting rooms near Norwich in Norfolk. I enjoy providing psychotherapy and working with individuals, couples and groups with a variety of issues. I specialise in working with anxiety, trauma, disordered eating and eating disorders. I work both online and face-to-face as a relational TA psychotherapist. I run a busy supervision practice and provide in-person and online one-to-one and group clinical supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists and the wider helping professions. I also provide specialist supervision on eating and weight to individual supervisees and run a series of CPD/Supervision Groups on Eating, Shape and Weight that run throughout each academic year. I am passionate about teaching and learning and train at several TA colleges, teaching both TA curricula, CPD and supervision courses and am also an examiner. I run a professional development group for TA folk planning who are post CTA and wanting to complete further TA training.
