Katy is a qualified counsellor working in private practice in Hampshire. She holds a MSc. in Applied Psychology, and both a Foundation degree and Diploma in Counselling. She is in her final year at The Link Centre, working towards her CTA and UKCP registration.

Her background is in media and marketing and has worked in TV, Radio, and was the Managing Director of a regional advertising agency for over 20 years.

Her interest in TA was piqued during her Level 2 counselling skills course which prompted her to complete a TA101 after which she says she fell in love with the modality, its philosophy, and the people she has subsequently come to know who practice it.

She feels passionately about making TA as accessible to as many people as possible, in the spirit of Berne’s original thinking about making psychoanalysis less slow, less rigid and less complex.
