More Time to Join Us: Volunteer Deadline Extended

Hello UKATA members,

We’d like to remind you about our volunteer opportunities and let you know that the deadline for expressions of interest for new TASC volunteers has been extended to 31 May 2026, giving more members time to consider getting involved.

UKATA’s work is made possible by members who offer their time, insight and care in service of the wider TA community. We are currently inviting expressions of interest for the following committees:

Training and Accreditations Standards Committee (TASC)

We are particularly keen to hear from experienced trainers and supervisors, while also welcoming members earlier in their journey who are interested in supporting learning, standards and accreditation.

Please send a CV and brief cover note to office@ukata.org by 31 May 2026.

For an informal conversation, contact Beren Aldridge at tasc@ukata.org.

Ethics and Professional Practice Committee (EPPC)

We are also welcoming initial expressions of interest at any time. Please contact Ian Argent at ethics@ukata.org.

No prior committee experience is needed — what matters most is thoughtful engagement and a willingness to contribute. We especially welcome interest from members whose perspectives are underrepresented in governance spaces.

We’ll also be sharing details soon about opportunities to join the Board of Trustees.

With thanks for all you bring to the community,

The UKATA Team
