Unlearning Straight Lines is a one-day, in-person workshop designed to help counsellors and psychotherapists develop a more confident, thoughtful and affirmative approach to working with LGBT+ clients and themes in therapy.
Led by Lauren Turner (MSc), the day combines teaching, reflection, and clinical discussion, drawing on humanistic, relational, and Transactional Analysis perspectives to explore identity, language, power, minority stress, and the therapist’s own assumptions.
