As a fully qualified and accredited counsellor I am professionally registered with the EATA, NCS, MBACP and work within their ethical framework. I also have formal Psychotherapy training and my theoretical modality is based in transactional analysis integrated with CBT and trauma work where relevant. For several years I've been counselling individuals and couples from my private practice based in Kent, helping them understand who they are and how they interact with others. When you’re ready and at your own pace, we can work together to promote awareness, clarity and understanding of the problems and issues you are facing and how they may have been shaped by your life experiences. Our aim will be to explore what’s going on for you and move you forward to the changes you desire for yourself and your future. In addition I have clinical experience working with survivors of domestic abuse and crime, as well as those caring for or dealing with their own mortality, loss or bereavement. At the heart of my work, I consider the strength of our collaborative relationship as critical to achieving the best possible outcome for your success. I believe you have worth and value with the capacity to think and make your own decisions to shape and continue to re-shape your own life. I believe that it is important to have both excellent qualifications and also a range of life experiences. Anchored in Transactional Analysis theory, I blend various tools, techniques and strategies which are tailored to suit your needs. Many issues can be a result of the unique combination of our cultures and experiences. You may be unaware of how these influences may impact your life today. Together, we can work to explore and understand how you could live your life differently in the future, break unwanted patterns and invite awareness, intimacy and spontaneity.

Who I work with:

Adults, couples, groups

I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist based in London, working in private practice as well as with NHS primary care. The focus of my professional practice is working psychotherapeutically with adults, to enhance their capacity for self-awareness and growth. Transactional Analysis forms the foundation of my professional practice, and is the primary modality I have trained in. I am drawn to the “I’m OK, You’re OK” philosophy of TA, and the open, accessible and collaborative way of working with clients that is embedded in this. While TA provides the foundation, I embrace a holistic way of working, integrating ideas from neuroscience, bodywork and spiritual practice into my work. I believe in the transformative power of group therapy, and in addition to my work with individuals I run several therapy groups - both online and in-person in London. In addition to my private practice, I am a Tutor with The Berne Psychotherapy Institute and offer supervision to trainee Transactional Analysts.
