Hello UKATA members,
UKATA relies on members who are willing to give their time, care and professional judgement in service of the wider TA community. From governance and standards to communication and connection, much of what we do is made possible by volunteers stepping into shared responsibility.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from members who would like to volunteer on either of two committees:
Training and Accreditations Standards Committee (TASC)

We are particularly keen to hear from experienced trainers and supervisors. We also welcome expressions of interest from members earlier in their professional journey who want to play a part in supporting learning, standards and accreditation.
You can view the full role description on our website here.
Please send a CV and brief cover note to office@ukata.org by 1 April 2026.
If you’d value an informal conversation or have any questions before applying, please contact the Committee Chair, Beren Aldridge, at tasc@ukata.org.
Ethics and Professional Practice Committee (EPPC)

We’re also welcoming initial expressions of interest for EPPC.
Please email the Committee Chair, Ian Argent, directly at ethics@ukata.org.
You don’t need prior committee experience to express an interest in volunteering with us. What matters most is thoughtful engagement, collaboration and a willingness to contribute.
We especially welcome interest from members whose perspectives are not always represented in professional governance spaces, and from people from minoritised and underrepresented communities.
We’ll also soon be recruiting new Trustees to join our Board - more details to follow.
With thanks for all that you bring to the community,
The UKATA Team
