Eating-related difficulties can involve medical, psychological and service needs. This workshop maps the treatment landscape for the broad spectrum of disordered eating presentations and eating disorders, while keeping counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists attentive to the limits of working in private practice. It considers psychological approaches alongside the role of medical care, multidisciplinary working and the decisions required when risk, vulnerability or physical health concerns mean that additional support is needed.
